Jason Fried and Nathan Kontny are two of my favorite online thinkers and doers. Jason runs Basecamp and Nathan runs Highrise. They film a YouTube channel where the two of them get together and talk about their problems, solutions, ideas. A show I am super interested in watching, except for one problem. The episodes are long, really long. Like anywhere from half an hour to 47 mins. That is just a little too much time for me to sit down and watch. Video Speed Controller to the rescue.

Video Speed Controller is my current favorite Chrome extension. After you install it, it lets you slow down and speed up any YouTube video. You can speed the videos up to 20x their original speed. Timelapses never looked so good.

So when I want a dose of Jason and Nathan inspiration, I just open their video and then double the speed. Perfectly easy to understand, and the 30 minute video becomes 15 minutes.

This is so funny. I get to this page by looking for an extension to watch these exact videos by Basecamp! =)
